We warmly invite you to join in the process of creating interactive, vivid and pedagogical multimedia
presentations of scientific and technological concepts.
You may choose between two options of collaboration:
As a Contributing Author you receive a copy of the Multimedia Presentation for personal, non-commercial use
and will be mentioned as a reference in the Nanopolis portal and educational materials.
As a Reviewer you will be mentioned as a reference in the Nanopolis portal and educational materials.
In both cases, your Institute or University of origin becomes a Nanopolis Academic Partner and may enjoy
several benefits related to the Nanopolis Educational Products.
Your interaction with Nanopolis takes place through the e-Room system. This editorial tool allows you to
look at multimedia presentations under development, as well as send comments and suggestions from any online
computer in the world.
A candidate of Contributing Author can either contact Nanopolis to propose a subject that may be
transposed into a multimedia animation or he/she can be contacted directly by the Nanopolis Team.
In the case when the initiative comes from the Contributing Author, it is necessary to fill in
the application form, accompanied by a motivation letter and CV.
2
When submitting a request, the Nanopolis Scientific Advisory Board approves the subject
and content to be transformed into a Multimedia Presentation.

Approved Contributing Authors will be provided with an e-Room account on the Nanopolis server
(see Glossary).

The Contributing Author then uploads documents to allow the Nanopolis Scientific Analysis Team to
create a graphical scenario of the concerned topic. Under the guidance of the Nanopolis
Scientific Analysis Team, the Nanopolis Graphic team creates a draft Multimedia Presentation
to explain the Contributing Author’s idea/concepts.
